Pennekamp Park preserves a portion of the only living coral reef in the continental United States. Catch a glimpse of a variety of tropical marine life in or out of the water aboard their glass-bottom boat and snorkeling/diving charters. Visitors have access to 50 miles of natural mangrove channels in the surrounding area with kayak and paddle board rentals. You can rent a boat or bring your own and make use of their launch ramp, trailer storage and wet slip services.

Harry Harris Park features a playground, picnic tables, barbecue grills and lagoon-like, enclosed swimming beach. Fish onshore from the walkway surrounding the beach or launch your boat using their ramp. There are 15 parking spaces for vehicles with trailers (day parking only).

Curry Hammock State Park spans 1,000 acres along both sides of Overseas Highway protecting a large area of mangroves, rockland hammocks and seagrass beds. Visitors have up to 1,200 feet of sandy beach access, a variety of water sport equipment rentals such as kayaks and kite boards to choose from, and activities like hiking, biking, or camping.
